We are a transparent skincare company & want to provide our customers with some background information and visual images of the natural ingredients we use. This will hopefully give you a better understanding of what the ingredient looks like in their raw form, along with their properties when used as part of your daily skincare rituals.

Our creams are not bulked up with water and preservatives & we pride ourselves in using only natural, raw, unrefined and organic ingredients. They have all been chosen for specific purposes to give high potency power for ultimate results.

All creams come in 30ml and 120ml sizes and are freshly hand-made in small batches to ensure quality control and freshness. They come in 100% recyclable amber glass jars (to protect the ingredients from UV light) & have an aluminium lid. A pea-sized amount is only required due to the high concentration of butter's and oils, making the creams last longer than conventional creams and lotions.

Key ingredients:

+Turmeric - Though it may be a relatively new buzz ingredient in the Western world, turmeric has racked up centuries of street cred as an Indian health treatment for a number of skin and body issues.  This ancient ingredient native to India is derived from the curcuma longa plant. It has been integral to the Indian culture for thousands of years and not only used in cooking but has powerful healing and brightening capabilities. The "golden" active ingredient in turmeric is curcumin which is a powerful antioxidant. It provides glow and luster to the skin and brings out its natural glow. Did you know it is traditional for an Indian bride and groom to apply a paste of turmeric to their face and bodies prior to their wedding? This is called a pithi/haldi ceremony, it not only purifies and cleanses the skin before the wedding but ensures you have glowing radiant blemish free skin ready for the big day. Turmeric has a colourful history and a bright future!

+Kokum Butter - A luxurious and more rare natural plant butter from the Indian Garcinia Indica tree aka the Kokum Tree. From the kernal seeds an extremely rich oil is extracted which is then made into a light, moisturising and non greasy butter. It has powerful skin loving properties, is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant which makes it ideal for sensitive, dry and damaged skin. It is easily absorbed into skin and doesn't clog pores. Great for sensitive, dry and acne prone skin.  Its ability to rejuvenate damaged skin cells is a killer way to combat wrinkles, fine lines, and age spots.

+Moringa - The Moringa Tree is native to India and is also known as the "Miracle Tree" and the "Drumstick Tree" in the UK. It has many benefits and uses and is a fast-growing tree that thrives even in harsh environments, poor soil and is drought resistant. Moringa oil is extracted from the seeds of the tree and has a plethora of benefits for skin-care. It is packed full of fatty acids, proteins and antioxidants that are hugely beneficial for the skin and is highly absorbent. A great source of natural vitamin A,C and E.  It aids in blurring blemishes, fighting acne, improves complexion and pigmentation and irons out fine lines into oblivion! Did you know that Indians make curries and soups out of the fresh drumsticks? A super nutritious plant with amazing benefits!

+ Sea Buckthorn - Also known as the Himalayan superfruit, the berries from the Sea Buckthorn plant actually contain up to a whopping 12 times the amount of vitamin C in oranges! This makes it great for brightening the skin and evens out any pigmentation or skin spots. Sea Buckthorn contains over 20 minerals and 60 antioxidants, 3 times more vitamin A than carrots and a potent amount of vitamin E too. In case that wasn't enough goodness packed into the one ingredient, Sea Buckthorn also contains fatty acids and omegas 3, 6, 9 and 7. It gives a great collagen boost for smoother, firmer skin.

+ Carrot Seed - Our carrot seed oil comes from India and has been extracted by steam distillation.  It is rich in sources of vitamin A and beta-carotene and has properties which help brighten the complexion as well as fading dark spots and scars.

+ Indian Frankincense - Most commonly heard in the tale of the Three Wise Men, Frankincense is also known as olibanum, is made from the resin of the Boswellia tree. It typically grows in the dry, mountainous regions of India, Africa and the Middle East. The essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the dry resin. The substance has been an ancient ceremonial staple in Ayurveda for centuries.  Its specific properties in this cream are to aid in toning skin, reducing scarring and regenerating the skin.
